Stilt Walkers

Stilt walkers rise a good half-metre or more above your guests on specialised stilts, instantly turning any space into a stage. They are often the first to greet arriving guests at the entrance, lead a festive procession toward the hall or marquee, or simply move through the crowd, drawing every eye. That kind of welcome sets the tone for the whole event before guests have even stepped inside.

Unlike a typical host or entertainer working at ground level, a stilt walker performs from height, which makes them visible even in a large crowd or a wide outdoor space — a city festival, an open-air event or a shopping-centre opening. That height turns the performer into a landmark guests naturally gravitate toward.

We offer seven core costume directions: a medieval knight or noble with historical motifs, a Venetian masquerade character with an ornate cloak, a modern elegant gentleman in a top hat, a mirror character that reflects the surrounding light, a colourful Alice-in-Wonderland-style figure, a seasonal character (for example a Christmas or New Year theme), and a company-branded character built around your colours and logo.

We choose the costume together with you, based on the theme, time of day, venue and the age of your guests. Weddings usually lean toward an elegant or mirror look, a city festival or history-themed event toward a knight or noble character, and a children's party or festival toward a bright, fairy-tale option.

Performers can juggle fire, carry flags bearing your logo, join a short photo session with guests, or draw them into a brief interactive moment. The act can be paired with music, other street-theatre elements, or combined with our other performances during the same event. From a single artist at the entrance to a full multi-performer procession, we scale the act to the size of your event and your expectations.

Stilt walkers perform both outdoors and indoors. Outdoors there are essentially no restrictions beyond a flat, dry, ice-free surface. Indoors, the key requirement is ceiling height: depending on the costume and stilt height, we generally need around 3.5–4 metres of clearance, and the floor must not be slippery. We confirm the exact height needed while planning your event, so the performance runs safely and without obstruction.
