Not a show to watch, but a lesson after which the props start to obey.
The Viduramžiai LT juggling school is not a show you watch from the sidelines – it's hands-on education where guests pick up the tools themselves. Performers first walk everyone through the basics of the technique, then the whole group tries it out in practice, step by step, until the sticks and chains start to obey.
The lessons are led by the same professional jugglers and acrobats who perform our fire shows. No fire is used here at all – this is a deliberately safe, fire-free first step on the path to becoming a fire performer, built for anyone who wants to feel the skill in their own hands before moving on to more advanced, fire-based performances.
A challenge for the child and for the adult
Tools and task difficulty are matched to each participant's age and ability. Children receive lighter, age-appropriate equipment, while adults get more demanding gear – heavier chains or sticks, for instance – that call for real concentration and physical readiness.
That makes the school equally engaging for the youngest guests and for adults looking for a genuine challenge. It sharpens coordination, reaction speed and patience – skills participants notice for themselves after just a few tries, the moment a tool starts answering to their hands.
Will it fit your space — and when outdoors is better
We adapt the juggling school to the rhythm of your event. It can run as an open space that guests can walk up to throughout the celebration, or as a scheduled group session for a specific set of guests at an agreed time.
Outdoor areas or spacious indoor venues with high ceilings work best, giving participants enough room to spin the tools freely and try the extra acrobatics or stilt-walking elements we also weave into the activity, without bumping into low ceilings or nearby objects.
This activity is often combined with other Viduramžiai LT programmes at the same celebration – for example, as an extra station alongside other active entertainment – so we always tailor the final price to the scope of programme you choose rather than offering one fixed package for everyone.
Guests stop watching and start doing
Unlike a show you simply watch, the juggling school turns guests into active participants – it builds a different, closer connection to the event than watching from the sidelines. People tend to linger at the same activity, try again, and pull the person next to them in for a go.
Because the same performer team runs both the juggling school and our fire shows, it fits naturally as an add-on alongside a fire show at the same celebration – guests get a coherent experience: try the skill themselves fire-free first, then watch the same technique performed by professionals with fire.
Since no fire is used at all, the school can also run in places where fire performances aren't possible due to venue or safety restrictions – which widens the range of venues and formats it can fit into.
The performer shows it first — then you try
Performers arrive with all the equipment needed and set it up on site. Each participant first watches a performer demonstrate the trick, then tries to repeat the movement themselves – the performer stands alongside, corrects posture and offers pointers until the tool starts responding.
Alongside stick and chain juggling, acrobatics and stilt-walking elements are also part of the school's activity range – for participants who want to try more than one juggling technique in the same session.

The answers people need most
Is the juggling school safe for children?
Yes, it's completely safe. We use tools specially adapted for training without fire or sharp parts. Children get lighter equipment matched to their age and ability, and performers supervise and assist every participant throughout.
Won't this be too easy for adults?
Not at all. Adults are given more complex tricks and heavier tools – such as heavy chains or sticks – that require real concentration and physical preparation. Many adult guests tell us it's noticeably harder than it looks from the outside.
Is fire used during the training?
No, fire is never used in the juggling school. It's safe education focused on building technique. Only after mastering the basics does it make sense to consider the next step – a fire performer's show with real fire, which we also offer as a separate programme.
How long does the school run for?
Duration depends on your event's format. The school can run as an open space guests can access throughout the entire event, or as a scheduled group session at an agreed time. We tailor the format to your programme individually.
What space is needed to host it?
Outdoor areas or spacious indoor venues with high ceilings work best. This lets participants spin the tools freely and try the extra acrobatic elements without obstruction. We discuss the specific space together before the event so everything fits comfortably.

Sincere thanks for the wonderful education at our city festival. It was incredible watching parents and children try to master the chain-spinning technique together. Very professional and engaging service.
The children were delighted, and the adults eagerly tried to master the trickiest moves. It's a wonderful activity that lets you safely feel like a real fire performer. We wholeheartedly recommend it!
