We arrive with the whole production, not a suitcase

For a performance abroad, what matters most is that the organiser has nothing to source locally. So we bring everything to Riga: the fire equipment, the costumes, the soundtracks and the special effects. All we need from the venue is the space and the agreed slot — the rest travels with the team.

Travel and logistics are priced into the offer up front, so the final figure does not shift in the last week. This is the question we hear most often from clients in Latvia: whether the distance means surprise line items later. It does not — the price is agreed before signing, and it covers getting there.

On the day we arrive well before the programme starts. The time buffer is planned around the journey: crossing a border and settling into an unfamiliar venue deserves a calmer margin than usual, so that the show begins exactly on cue.

Vecrīga, the Daugava embankments and large-scale events

Riga offers three very different settings for a performance. The old town, with its narrow courtyards and stone walls, calls for a chamber format — as in Vilnius Old Town, the choreography is arranged compactly and safe distances are calculated for that exact spot. In an enclosed space the fire reads even closer.

The Daugava embankments and the city squares are the opposite extreme. This is where our largest-scale programmes unfold: music-synchronised choreography and special effects that carry to a big crowd. By the river the wind is worth accounting for, so the final variant of the programme is confirmed on the day.

Hotel ballrooms and conference centres in Riga host a good deal of international business that needs a memorable close to the evening. For those we have programmes adapted to indoor venues; before confirming we assess ceiling height, ventilation and escape routes, and if the space is wrong for open flame we say so plainly and propose an alternative.

Language, contracts and approvals in Latvia

With clients in Latvia we correspond in Latvian, Russian or English — whichever suits you. The performance itself needs no language: a fire programme works without a word of text, which makes it a better fit for a mixed audience than any spoken act.

A fire performance in a public space in Riga is normally coordinated with the municipality, and on private grounds with the site management. We prepare the documentation on the effects used, the safety measures and the distances. In this respect an international event is no different from a local one — it simply deserves more lead time for approvals.

The answers people need most

How much does a fire show in Riga cost?

Fire programme prices start from €660, and an offer for Latvia already includes the travel. The final price depends on the programme you choose, the venue and the date – leave a request and within one business day you will receive an offer with an exact figure for your event.

Do you really travel from Lithuania to Latvia?

Yes — Latvia is one of the countries we work in regularly, not a one-off exception. We come with our own team and all the equipment, so there is nothing extra for you to arrange at the venue. The travel logistics are ours to carry.

What language do you work in when performing in Latvia?

We correspond and plan in Latvian, Russian or English — whichever is easier for you. The performance itself needs no language, which is why a fire programme suits an international or mixed audience better than acts built on speech.

Does a fire show in a public space in Riga need a permit?

Usually yes — a performance on a square, in a park or by the Daugava is coordinated with the municipality. We support the organiser: we prepare the information on the special effects used, the safety measures and the distances. The only thing to plan for is some lead time.

When should we book a date in Riga?

As early as you can, especially if the event falls in the summer or December season — that is when the calendar fills fastest, and a trip to Latvia reserves the date for the whole day. Early booking also leaves more room to tailor the programme to your script.
