We arrive with the whole production, not a suitcase

For a performance abroad, what matters most is that the organiser has nothing to source locally. So we bring everything to Riga: the fire equipment, the costumes, the soundtracks and the special effects. All we need from the venue is the space and the agreed slot — the rest travels with the team.

Travel and logistics are priced into the offer up front, so the final figure does not shift in the last week. On the day we arrive well before the programme starts. The time buffer is planned around the journey: crossing a border and settling into an unfamiliar venue deserves a calmer margin than usual, so that the show begins exactly on cue.

Riga offers three very different settings for a performance. The old town, with its narrow courtyards and stone walls, calls for a chamber format — as in Vilnius Old Town, the choreography is arranged compactly and safe distances are calculated for that exact spot. In an enclosed space the fire reads even closer.

The Daugava embankments and the city squares are the opposite extreme. This is where our largest-scale programmes unfold: music-synchronised choreography and special effects that carry to a big crowd. By the river the wind is worth accounting for, so the final variant of the programme is confirmed on the day.

Hotel ballrooms and conference centres in Riga host a good deal of international business that needs a memorable close to the evening. For those we have programmes adapted to indoor venues; before confirming we assess ceiling height, ventilation and escape routes, and if the space is wrong for open flame we say so plainly and propose an alternative.
