The UV show has one condition most stage acts don't: it needs genuine, deep darkness. The less ambient light leaks into the room, the brighter the UV-reactive costume elements glow, and the more convincing the illusion becomes. The performers themselves effectively disappear in the dark — only the glowing outlines and patterns remain visible, so audiences see what looks like light figures floating on their own.

Does the UV show require complete darkness?
Yes — the darker the space, the more visible the effect. The UV show's illusion depends directly on how deep the darkness is: even a small stray light source from a window or side door can lower the contrast and make the levitation illusion less convincing. Indoors, it's enough to be able to dim or switch off the lighting; outdoors, we perform after dark. We discuss the venue and lighting options in advance so the effect reads as brightly as possible.
Are the UV lights safe for the audience?
Yes, we use professional, certified equipment that is safe for both performers and the audience. Unlike pyrotechnic effects, the UV show involves no flame, heat or explosive materials — the visual effect comes entirely from specially prepared costumes and UV lighting. That's part of why it also suits more sensitive venues where avoiding noise or smoke effects matters.
