Knight Fights

Knight fights are more than shining armor and colorful costumes: blood-curdling battles with real strikes that dent armor and shatter shields. No acting required.

Our weapons and armor are no stage props – they are reconstructions of authentic 14th–15th-century archaeological finds, built to museum-reconstruction standards. A full suit of armor weighs up to 30 kg, and every weapon carries the same weight and balance as its historical original. That is why our medieval knights don't just look the part – they fight the way they did six centuries ago.

Because the armor is real rather than staged, every strike sounds and looks convincing – spectators feel the difference between stage acting and a genuine clash straight away. It's a show that works because of what genuinely happens on stage, not because of special effects – no stunt doubles, no second takes.

We tailor knight fights to the nature of your event and offer three distinct formats. Showcase duels pit fighters against each other with a range of weapons – swords, axes, shields – with each weapon type introduced separately along with its combat tactics.

Mass combat, or buhurt, is a group-versus-group clash where the outcome hinges on formation and tactics rather than a single fighter's skill. This format recreates the feel of a real battle and works particularly well for larger events and city festivals, where the crowd is bigger and a wide-scale spectacle is what the moment calls for.

Theatrical bouts are narrative-driven duels built around a historical or legendary story, with humor woven in so the fight becomes part of the storytelling rather than a pure technique demonstration. We choose the format together with you, based on your event's goal and audience.

All three formats can be combined with each other or fitted to one specific moment in your event – for example, closing the formal part of the evening or bridging into the entertainment segment.

Our knights are more than fighters – they are skilled presenters. During the show they explain period weaponry, armor construction and medieval customs, turning the program into a living history lesson as well as a spectacle.

Spectators are encouraged to take an active part – cheering on a favorite fighter and reacting to every strike as the tournament's tension builds. That direct emotional connection with the crowd is one reason knight fights work equally well at an intimate celebration and in a packed city square.

After the show we always set aside time for an interactive segment: try on a helmet, hold a sword, or find out just how heavy a knight's shield really is. This part often becomes the most memorable moment of the whole event, letting guests physically feel what they had only watched from a distance moments before.

Knight fights suit any level surface – a manor hall, a conference center, or an open-air venue work equally well. A standard show can be split into several episodes so the tournament's tension carries through the whole event.

That structure is especially useful for events with a longer program: one episode can greet arriving guests, a second can interrupt dinner with an unexpected twist, and a third can serve as the evening's finale.
