A party where everything serves one story.

An evening where everything obeys one story

A themed party differs from a standard entertainment programme in that everything follows one storyline. In-costume hosts, decor, games and music are built so guests step into another era or world from the first minute, rather than just watching separate acts.

Our most requested programmes: a pirate treasure hunt, "Captain Redbeard's Treasure"; reawakened fairy tales; a journey around the world with a merry crew; a feast at the royal court; and a journey back in time. Each has its own plot, characters and task structure.

If none of these five fit, the team builds a programme around a concept you invent yourself — we adapt professional props and costumes to your idea rather than squeezing it into a ready-made template.

From pirates to fairy tales — five ready-made themes

"Pirates - Captain Redbeard's Treasure" is an adventure programme built around a treasure hunt, where guests become crew members and follow clues to a hidden prize.

"Reawakened Fairy Tales" brings storybook characters and plots to life at the party - a strong fit when the guest list mixes children and adults.

"Around the World with a Merry Crew" is a journey-themed programme where each stage evokes a different corner of the world and its own challenge.

"Feast at the Royal Court" recreates the formal atmosphere of a medieval banquet - court etiquette, music and character roles - and pairs well with a gala-evening format.

"Journey Back in Time" is a historical programme that walks guests through different eras and their defining moments.

Every guest joins in as much as they want to

The format scales easily with group size. The same concept suits an intimate 15-20 person gathering at home or on a private estate, and a large corporate event with dozens or hundreds of guests — only the scale of the script and the number of hosts changes, not the concept itself.

Every programme is led by professional hosts in costumes matched to the theme. They don't just narrate the plot — they actively engage with guests throughout the evening, keep the pace up and make sure nobody is left on the sidelines.

We know not every guest wants to take part the same way. That's why each programme has two layers: active tasks and light competitions for guests chasing excitement, and a theatrical spectacle for those who'd rather sit back and take in the atmosphere.

That flexibility matters most in mixed groups, where a single party brings together both energetic and quieter guests — nobody feels pressured, and the programme still reads as one seamless story.

Two themes — the reawakened fairy tales and the pirate adventure — are especially popular for children's birthdays and celebrations. Tasks are adjusted to the children's age, and we pay particular attention to safety, so parents can relax or mingle with other adult guests.

Families celebrating together with children often choose one of these two themes, since the programme balances the needs of different age groups within a single story.

What sets the price — and why there is no fixed one

Because every theme and group size calls for a different number of hosts, costumes and props, we don't advertise a flat rate — the final price depends on the size of the programme and any extras you add. We give you an exact quote after a short conversation about your event's format.

A themed party pairs naturally with our other programmes — a fire show, period dances or a gala-evening format — if you'd like to extend the evening with an additional highlight.

Viduramžiai LT has been running themed parties since 2004 and has worked with well-known Lithuanian companies and organisations, so we know how to adapt a programme for both private and corporate audiences — from a small celebration to a large city or company event.

The answers people need most

Can you build a party around a theme we come up with ourselves?

Yes. Beyond the five most popular programmes, the creative team also develops a custom concept — we adapt professional props, costumes and set pieces to your idea rather than offering a ready-made template. We discuss the plot, characters and key highlights in an initial conversation so the programme reflects your own idea.

What group sizes does a themed party suit?

From 15-20 people up to several hundred guests. The format scales easily — for a small group we offer a more intimate, close-up programme, and for a large corporate event we scale up the script with more hosts and a wider set of tasks. Group size is discussed together with the venue and the occasion.

Who runs the programme through the evening?

Every programme is led by professional hosts wearing costumes matched to the theme. They don't just present the plot and manage the evening's flow — they actively engage with guests from start to finish, so the programme never breaks into a disconnected series of separate acts.

Do all guests have to actively take part?

No, participation isn't mandatory. The programme runs on two levels — active tasks and light competitions for guests chasing excitement, and a theatrical spectacle and atmosphere for those who'd rather just watch. That combination lets one party suit both energetic and quieter guests.

Are the themes suitable for children's birthdays?

Yes, especially the reawakened fairy tales and the pirate adventure. Tasks are adjusted to the children's age, and we pay particular attention to safety, so parents can relax during the celebration. These two themes are also popular for mixed-age parties bringing together children and adults.

Testimonials

This team organised our Christmas party around a royal-feast theme. We really felt like we were at an old-time banquet - well-chosen games, a polished programme, beautiful period dances. Our children were also kept busy all evening, so we could relax at our own celebration.

The pirate-themed party took place at the countryside venue during a private celebration. Even the staff got drawn into the party - everyone was happy and had a great time.
